MANILA— AC Health continues its mission to transform health for every Filipino as it officially welcomes FEU-NRMF Medical Center into Healthway Medical Network (HMN), enhancing operational efficiencies and introducing patient-centric innovations in the 5th District of Quezon City.
"Finding a partner with shared values, and a commitment to continue our mission, was paramount in our decision to lease the hospital," said Juan Enrique Reyes, President of FEU-NRMF Foundation. "Beginning with our initial discussions with AC Health there was instant and tangible synergy between our teams. It was clear that our cultures and values were aligned. It just felt right."
“The Healthway FEU-NRMF Medical Center represents a renewed commitment to quality and accessible healthcare—rooted in legacy but focused on the future. It is a recognition that great institutions must continue to evolve to meet the needs of the people they serve,” said Fernando Zobel de Ayala, Chairman of AC Health. “With this transition, we reaffirm our commitment not only to patient care, but to continuing that legacy of education and professional excellence.”
AC Health and FEU-NRMF entered a 35-year lease agreement, which has brought about several infrastructure and service investments—such as the revitalization of the catheterization lab and coronary artery bypass grafting surgery program, the creation of a women’s health center with 3D mammogram, the expansion of the hemodialysis facility, and the improvement of the eye center—further strengthening the hospital's capabilities to serve both patients and medical trainees.
“This milestone underscores AC Health’s unwavering commitment to our vision of transforming health for every Filipino,” said Paolo Borromeo, President &CEO of AC Health. “As the Healthway FEU-NRMF Medical Center officially becomes part of AC Health’s integrated ecosystem, we look forward to greater collaboration and synergy across our growing network of hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies as well as the broader Ayala ecosystem.”
Founded in 1952 in Morayta and relocated to Quezon City in 1999, the Healthway FEU-NRMF Medical Center is the only Level 3 hospital serving District 5. It houses a strong medical team of over 540 accredited doctors across 11 clinical departments, with 10 residency training programs and 5 fellowship training programs. The hospital’s key specializations include Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Oncology, OB & Gynecology, and Surgery.
“The Healthway FEU-NRMF Medical Center is a vital addition to our network of hospitals and clinics, significantly strengthening our presence in Quezon City and reinforcing our mission to provide integrated, holistic care,” said Jimmy Ysmael, President and CEO of HMN. “With our ‘Care Beyond Cure’ philosophy, we go beyond treating illness; we focus on nurturing overall well-being and delivering compassionate, human-centric care throughout the patient journey. This partnership allows us to extend that promise to even more communities.”
Under the expert management of HMN, the Healthway FEU-NRMF Medical Center will continue to fulfill its dual role—as a leading provider of comprehensive healthcare services and as a respected training ground for the next generation of healthcare professionals.
